As part of the Valor Metal Project, LBC is supporting ANEME in the Intervention to Accelerate the Adoption of Industry 4.0 in the Metallurgical and Electromechanical Sector. The main objective of the project is to carry out an analysis of the state of the art of the fourth industrial revolution in the sector, the identification of gaps and above all of the potential that exists of industry 4.0 for companies in the sector. It will also be defined as an Action Plan and a Roadmap that allows the sector to leverage the opportunities of this new paradigm. Also within the scope of the project, tools are being made available and awareness-raising and mobilization actions are being carried out to facilitate the introduction and adoption of new technologies in the business models of companies in the sector.
On July 22nd, ANEME, LBC and INESC TEC gathered professionals from the industrial sector in the Workshop on Advanced Robotics, Internet of Things and Augmented Reality, Key Technologies of 4.0, held by INESC TEC, in Porto.
The main objective of this session was the promotion of the companies' reflection on the challenges and opportunities of Advanced Robotics, Internet of Things and Augmented Reality technologies in industry 4.0.
