and digital transformation company, we are looking for a management consulting manager with solid
previous experience to reinforce our practice in Luanda.

LBC has been present in Angola for 12 years, having done more than 250 projects in this market, in various industry sectors,
mainly: Government, Energy, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Transportation, Manufacturing, Retail, Fishing.

Our clients in this market are government, multilateral entities, state-owned entities and private sector.

Main Duties

You will be engaged in projects in various service areas in Angola, reporting to the Partner in charge of this market.

As you become more integrated in our company you will be jointly responsible for the sales in this market, as well as for project required to focus in and then lead a practice area for which you will be the primary business owner, controlling the P&L as well as the development of the business solutions in that area (service area or region).

You will be based in Luanda, but must be prepared to travel globally to participate in client engagements for short periods of time.

Conduct commercial activities such as client identification and development, project scoping and budgeting, production of proposals and closing of opportunities.

Leader multidisciplinary teams

Manage proposals and business development calls with partners and senior managers.

Communicate with clients to manage expectations, lead change efforts and ensure satisfaction.

Develop solutions for complex client situations to meet goals and objectives.

Do project management and execution with high quality standards.

icon bulletMeasure project progress, client benefits and budget expectation achievement through proprietary tracking tools.

icon bulletCommunicate with client management such as C-suite client leadership.

icon bulletBe a primary business owner, controlling the P&L as well as the development of the business solutions for a specific service area or region.

icon bulletAttract, manage, develop and mentor staff to assess engagement performance and year-end reviews.

Experience

Icon visto branco+7 years previous experience in management consulting or equivalent

Icon visto brancoThe ideal candidate would have deep expertise in some of the following industries to add industry-specific content as part of our services: energy, telecommunications, government, manufacturing, transportation, financial services.

Icon visto brancoAbility to independently conduct meetings with C-level, engineering-level, management-level or executive level customer personnel in regard to positioning sales and solutions.

Icon visto brancoUnderstanding and application of project management methodologies such as Agile and PMP, including exceptional skill sets in scoping, design, and delivery

Icon visto brancoAbility to hire, mentor, manage and ensure performance of a team.

Icon visto brancoDocumented successful sales of enterprise-wide solutions or services.

Academic Level

University degree in the field of economics, management, finance or industrial engineering
or equivalent combination of experience and education; Master’s degree preferred.

Other Requirements

Availability to travel abroad

To be comfortable working away from home for up to five days per week for short periods of time

You will earn a monthly salary plus performance-related bonuses, both for individual and consultancy-level achievements, plus private medical cover and meal subsidy.
